An established New Jersey law firm is seeking a talented and motivated Real Estate Attorney to join its real estate finance and development practice. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated, multi-layered transactions throughout New Jersey and beyond. The ideal candidate will bring substantial commercial real estate experience along with strong drafting, negotiation, and matter-management skills. Key Responsibilities Handle acquisitions, dispositions, and commercial real estate closings Advise on title and survey matters Manage mortgage and construction financing transactions Draft and negotiate loan documentation, purchase and sale agreements, ground leases, and development agreements Conduct and oversee due diligence review Support financing for development projects, including bond financing Coordinate with lenders, title companies, surveyors, and opposing counsel Collaborate with attorneys across redevelopment, corporate, tax, finance, and land-use practices Manage multiple transactions simultaneously from inception through closing Qualifications 10-15 years of relevant commercial real estate experience Strong drafting and negotiation skills involving purchase and sale agreements, title policies, ground leases, development agreements, and loan documentation Ability to independently manage a high volume of complex matters Excellent communication, organization, and client-service skills Admission to the New Jersey Bar required Base salary range: $160,000-$200,000 , depending on experience, qualifications, and overall background Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, retirement savings plan, employee assistance program, and additional wellness benefits Collaborative, inclusive workplace with an emphasis on professional development, respect, and open communication About the Firm The firm serves both public-sector and private-sector clients and maintains a broad practice that includes commercial real estate, public finance, redevelopment, land use, litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and restructuring/bankruptcy.
