Start as a helper. Grow into a lead plumber.

Hugo Plumbing is a family-owned residential plumbing company serving homeowners across the greater Houston area, with more than 750 five-star Google reviews. We're growing fast, and we're looking for hardworking helpers who want a real career, not just a job.

You'll start at $15–$17/hr depending on experience. You'll work side by side with our licensed plumbers and learn the trade on real jobs. Once you're ready to run your own calls, you can move up to Technician or Lead Plumber. Those roles earn 25% commission on gross profit on every job you sell. Our experienced technicians make $2,000–$4,000 a week, depending on how fast they learn.

What you'll do

• Assist plumbers on residential service calls: leaks, clogs, fixtures, water heaters, drains and sewer lines
• Load, stock and organize the truck, and keep tools and the job site clean
• Carry materials, dig, and help with installs and repairs
• Learn diagnosis, repair and customer service from experienced pros
• Treat every customer's home like your own

What we're looking for

• No experience needed. We'll train the right person, and helper or construction experience is a plus
• A Texas plumbing apprentice registration, or willingness to get one (we'll walk you through it)
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Reliable, on time, and eager to learn
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, crawl, and work in attics and outdoors
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Schedule

• Full-time, usually 7:30am–4:30pm. Hours can vary with the job, as they do across the trade
• Opportunities for on-call shifts and Saturday work if you want the extra hours
